The "koans" learning method is a solid one and I have benefitted greatly from both Python and Javascript versions of this method. There is a humorous demeer of Zen Buddhism over it, but basically its a number quiz questions that you answer by making a test pass, teaching you not just the language, but good testing techniques as well. If you are an Erlang guru already, help out the community by contributing to a Koan or two.
